The NKFM1 is used for knee disarticulations and long thigh amputations and the NOFM1 is used for patients with AK amputation.
Because of the unique construction, both versions can be used, as either a locking joint with manual release or a mechanical, freely mobile joint as the user grows more mobile. The joints are suitable for users with low walking demands (mobility I - II) with a high to very high need for safety.
