The latest primary controller within our range is the ACTIV 500 – a highly sophisticated computer based unit that combines both RF (Radio) control as well as InfraRed in one cost effective package.  The system can carry out numerous simultaneous functions through fifty layered information screens – each with up to 18 functions.

The ACTIV 500 controller also has a voice output facility.  This means that users who may have visual or cognitive problems can receive a spoken voice “prompt” to accurately manage the system without having to read or understand the display.  The multi lingual ability of the system also allows voices to be recorded in any language.  Furthermore, voice announcements may be used to maintain a basic level of of communication with other people.

Despite the advanced technology and versatility of the ACTIV 500, control is extremely easy through a number of switches, ranging from a single button to those that allow operation through a slight movement of the head or a simple suck/blow action through a straw-like tube.
