RSLSTEEPER myoelectric hands combine optimum control functions based around a rugged design. Suitable for a range of users from infants through to adult males and females, our hands include a number of unique elements to offer simple and yet effective control to suit almost all daily activities.

A comprehensive range of complementary components such as batteries, myo electrodes, switches, control cable options and cosmetic gloves to complete any prescription for either above or below elbow configurations is also available, with specialist components for higher level systems created to order.

Multi Control Plus Myo Electric Hands

Available in 5 sizes, the MultiControl Plus range of Myoelectric Hands incorporates a unique on board electronics management system with simple switch selection that allows fast in-clinic choice from a range of 5 pre-programmed control strategies:

• Single Site Voluntary Opening - Threshold control
• Single Site pulse to open, sustained signal to close - Threshold Control
• Single Site pulse to open, sustained signal to close - Proportional Control
• Signal to close - Proportional Control 
• Dual Site Threshold Control
• Dual Site Proportional Control

The MultiControl Plus range also includes:

• A power control system that enables the user to achieve a controlled greater grip force on demand by means of additional pulses in the closed position
• A foam cover encloses and protects the hand, which can then be fitted with a cosmetic glove in either Silicone or PVC

Infants Hands

The Energy “Scamp” system is a paediatric, electrically controlled hand which is available in two sizes to accommodate young children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years old.

The hand is very lightweight, durable and provides a safe secure grip without exerting excessive grip force. It is operated through a single site electrode or switch control to open, and closes automatically by means of a spring.

This unique electro-mechanical design allows safe opening of the hand by an adult, and also simplifies the training process by allowing the child to open the hand manually. The single site control also promotes an easy training process.

The ribbed finger and thumb structures offer an effective gripping surface for the child, and also provide a safe cover to the underlying structures
