Our group of fully qualified and experienced Prosthetists, Orthotists and Technicians is supported by the latest technology in both upper and lower extremity prostheses, orthoses and appliances. We offer a truly caring service for patients from early postoperative counselling right through to preparations for return to everyday life.

Our Approach

We see the relationship with each of our patients as a partnership, bringing together our expertise with your preferences to achieve the successful fitting of a new artificial limb or appliance. Your arrival is followed by discussions with a Consultant, giving you the opportunity to convey your thoughts and receive invaluable counselling, advice and guidance.

Today’s world of prosthetics offers a wide choice of systems, which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual. At our private patient’s centre our staff will help you to make the right choice and train you to enjoy the maximum benefit to your prosthesis.

Our specialists can design limbs for any level of amputation, from basic cosmetic limbs to high tech electronic systems. Lightweight modular systems allow a wider range of sporting, leisure and occupational activities to be enjoyed, however we still retain the traditional skills to provide conventional leather/metal limbs if required.

You can be confident that should any additional medical treatment be necessary, expert help is on hand. If you are a new patient you may require specialist physiotherapy or occupational therapy, which will be arranged. Our service, however, does not stop when you return home. Reassurance and advice are only a telephone call away. Above all, our team is totally committed to providing the service you need. At every stage you will be helped by experts, preparing you to enjoy, with confidence, the freedom of everyday life.

Custom Silicone Limbs

A recent addition to our services now includes custom high definition silicone| limbs. Each limb is produced specifically to suit your individual requirements. Skin pigmentation, freckles, veins and even real body hair can all be incorporated to ensure a truly authentic and bespoke finish. The product range includes leg and arm systems, hands, feet and individual fingers and toes for both adults and children.

Your requirements are our first priority. Our staff ensures that you are involved at every stage of the fabrication process. As each limb is unique to you we believe that you should be involved in the shaping and toning process so that the prosthesis meets your own specific needs.

Once we clearly understand your requirements we begin a process called ‘matching’. This ensures that the surface cosmesis, colour and shape is as close to your own features as possible. Our specialised facilities incorporate daylight adjusted rooms for precise colour matching.

This also includes help with the practical side of your visit such as the arrangement of transport and accommodation to suit your budget.
