General Indications for Medipro Silicone Liners:

• Securing function
• Proprioreceptive response
• Reduction of shearing forces
• Care of scars by reduction or prevention of keloid development
• Promotion of venous return
• Comfortable donning in sitting
• Grasps the soft tissue for easier insertion into the socket
• Residue-free cleaning of the liner

General Contraindications for Medipro Silicone Liners:

• Skin necroses
• Poor physical condition of the user and/or nobody available to help
• Open wounds
• Very soft skin (e.g. children under 3)
• Recent skin injury (less than 4 weeks after mesh graft and before the start of epithelialisation)
• Extreme distal scarring on the residual limb (e.g. obese patients)

Technical Information:

• All Medipro Liners can be used either with or without the pin adaptor.
• Each Medipro Liner set includes: pin adaptor, thread cap, silicone adhesive and superglue as well as the Medipro washing and drying stand
